The strategy is pretty obvious. They want OEM’s to pre-install Chrome.

NO, it’s not "weird" (or "wierd", for cryin’ out loud). Darn it, I wish people would stop being idiots about this "but why is Google always doing Beta stuff" *****… it’s really getting annoying.

I actually quite like Chrome – I – like everyone else I imagine – nearly got my eyes stuck in the back of my head after rolling them at Google trying to take over the world, & obviously Chrome is nowhere near as good as Mozilla (yet) but on the whole I like the browser… only a couple of gripes so far:1. there is no standard ‘Home’ button – had to create my own bookmark for my chosen homepage (suprose suprise, google). 2. Unlike Mozilla, you get no warning box when you x out of multiple browser tabs – a couple of time now I have accidently clicked x & everything closed down – although at least next time you open Chrome, your recently visited sites are shown in large thumbnail view. But apart from these small issues, I likey
