Fujitsu’s TH40D Convertible Tablet Announced for Japan

Fujitsu has announced its new Fujitsu LifeBook TH40/D slide-out tablet for the Japanese market.

The new 2.4-pound convertible laptop runs on a 1.5GHz Oak Trail Atom Z670 processor, and backed by 1GB of non-expendable DDR2 RAM. It consists of a 10.1-inch 1,024 x 600 touchscreen, a 120GB 4200rpm hard drive and a battery offering life to the device of around 6 hours.

The TH40/D also boasts with 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0 ports, HDMI-out, an SD card slot and an optical trackpad located next to the short space bar.

The new TH40/D will be available in Japan by the end of June and will retail at a price of $990.
