As many FlipShare fans know, the brand is dying and at a fast rate at that! The bad news just keep coming and now the New York Times announced that as of 12 May, all videos uploaded to FlipShare will expire within 30 days after they have been posted.
According to the NYT report, this will include all videos already uploaded earlier. So, in short, all FlipShare users will have less than a month to back up their collection of video clips before they are removed from the website.
FlipShare will continue to provide a service for another two years and six months, but video clips uploaded since yesterday will be removed within 30 days.
For users with valuable content on the service, we highly recommend that you start backing up your content!
