The G2x may currently be getting all the attention as T-Mobile’s current flagship smartphone, but HTC is not happy and is determined to ensure that it does not stay this way for long.
HTC recently announced the launch of a Sign-Up page where fans could get up-to-date news, information and announcements on the HTC Sensation.
The company is said to compete actively in establishing the new Sensation as T-Mobile’s flagship product, also hoping to push theG2x aside as the current leader.
The new Sensation will also be a 4G compatible device, boasting with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, qHD display and Sense 3.0. The device will consist of a 4.3-inch (540×960) super LCD screen and operate on Google’s Gingerbread operating system. The makers of the HSPA+ device also promises fast download speeds, of up to 14.4Mbps on.
Looking at the current specifications released on the device it will come as no surprise that it may take the lead as the flagship for T-Mobile.
According to rumors doing the rounds the release date for the HTC Sensation is set to be 8 June 2011.
