Game maker, Activision, has announced that it will be launching a new online subscription service, Call of Duty: Elite. The new online service is aimed at tapping the massive online community that the Call of Duty franchise already has.
According to Activision, all players will still be able to play multi-player games online, but those signing up to the Call of Duty: Elite service will have access to a number of new services like total XP, recent match data and a heat map of latest matches explaining where all the kills happened.
Subscribers will also be provided with a dynamic strategy guide that tracks their statistics and performances to the minute in detail.
No pricing information has been mentioned, but Activision did say that the price would be comparable to other online entertainment services currently on the market.
Call of Duty: Elite is scheduled for a November 8 release in the United Kingdom.
