It has been confirmed that the iPad 2 is about to make its debut in a host of new countries on May 27, which include India, Russia, Ukraine, Chile and Brazil.
The news comes as good news to those thousands of iPad fans waiting for the new-generation version of the popular tablet.
In Russia, the tablet will be made available at a host of stores which include MediaMarkt, Beliy Veter Cifrovoi, M.Video, ION, Technosila, Eldorado, z-Store and Re:Store. Unfortunately the tablet will be much more expensive than elsewhere in the world. The 16GB Wi-Fi version will go on sale at a price of $667, while the 64GB version will be available at $1,080.
In the Ukraine, the device will not be any better than in Russia. The 16GB Wi-Fi version will be available at $670, while the 64GB version will have a price tag of $1,100.
No information is available on pricing in Brazil and Chile.
