We have good news for fans of Netflix! The company has just secured a large content deal whereby they are set to stream Miramax Movies starting June 2011.
The company confirmed that they have secured a multi-year agreement with Miramax to allow the streaming of hundreds of movies from the latter’s library, some of which include Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill and others. These movies will be added to the Netflix Watch Instantly Catalog on a rotating basis starting next month.
This is the first time Miramax movies have been made available on a digital subscription service.
The rumors of this deal began back in March, when it was alleged that the deal may well be a 5-year term and $100 million price tag.
The companies have not revealed any terms of the agreement.
