And so hackers continue to target and attack Sony, with yet another attack on a Sony Ericsson’s online Canadian store. The attack follows a huge hacking incident on the company’s PlayStation Network, which lead to the closure of the said network, as well as another attack on the company’s Greek online music service earlier this week.
According to information received, hackers that attacked the online Canadian store may have extracted personal data of more than 2,000 Canadian Eshop customers.
The company said that all passwords taken during the hacking incident were encrypted. They also announced that no credit card information were lost.
The Eshop service has subsequently been taken offline.
