It seems that e-Reader manufacturers are trying their best to get their devices to behave more like our old-fashioned paper books, which we have started to abandon. Many tech users are not keen with this technology and will only start showing an interest when these devices can be folded up and stuffed into a back pocket.
It became clear that Sony is now working hard at trying to make this a reality when the company unveiled a new bendable display technology at last week’s SID conference.
The device is an extremely flexible black and white e-paper display. The 13.3-inch sheet has a 1,600 x 1,200, 150ppi, resolution and is powered by organic TFTs.
