We are not sure where to go from here, but here is the problem. On June 14, the HTC Desire did not have sufficient memory to run Gingerbread as operating system. On June 15, now the device does have sufficient memory.
It now again appears as if the smartphone maker will listen to consumer demands and will indeed release a Gingerbread update.
So, for all the HTC Desire fans out there, the ball has bounced back in your favor and you can soon expect the Gingerbread update.
Although no official release date has been provided, we will be here to inform you of HTCs next decision.
