New York Post Blocks iPad Access via Safari Browser
It has now been reported that the New York Post has blocked iPad owners from reading its stories through the tablet’s Safari browser. Those interested in reading stories from the newspaper, will now be required to download an iOS app, which requires signing up for a subscription starting at $6.99 per month.

What is strange though is the fact that the website can still be accessed and read on a desktop browser, a normal smartphone, including Android devices. It would almost appear as if News Corp is strangling web access for a select group of online readers.

Whatever the reasons may be for the decision, we look forward to official word from News Corp on what it plans for iPad users.
