Olympus TG-1 iHS Tough Camera specs and features leaked on Best Buy

Up for another rugged camera? Best Buy accidentally listed Olympus TG-1 iHS Tough Camera on their catalogue prior to its official announcement. Photo Rumors was first to spot it online along with its specs and features. The listing has now been taken down. Olympus TG-1 iHS appears to be a compact digital camera with its LED display, intact lens, and portable design. Its small frame shouldn’t be mistaken for fragility though because not only is it waterproof, the camera is also resistant to freezing, shock, crushing, and dust.

All the juicy details like specs and features were detailed on Best Buy. One spec which sets it apart from other rugged shooters is screen resolution. While most have TFT LCD panels, Olympus’ Tough Camera instead has 610k-dot pixels and OLED display, improving clarity for viewing images underwater. It is estimated to cost US $400. We leave it up to you to decide whether or not this price is reasonable by going through the specifications below.
